Liberace "was Elton John and Lady Gaga before they even dreamed of it," producer Jerry Weintraub says. Which is why we're glad the biopic "Behind the Candelabra" is heading to HBO. And starring Michael Douglas as the flamboyant pianist. Looking at this photo of the late entertainer, taken in 1971, you can see what Weintraub is talking about.

Nicky Minaj wore a typically out-there outfit to announce nominees for the American Music Awards on Tuesday. I don't know what to look at first: the bra, the fuzzy jacket, the poufy skirt, the blue boots -- or the two-tone hair. And I bet we can expect something equally eye-catching when the awards are given out Nov. 20.

Style.com launched a two-week virtual fashion channel Tuesday. The digital videos will feature 12 American and international fashion-design brands that have not previously presented collections on the runway or during fashion week shows, according to a news release. First up was Surface to Air, a collective based in Paris.

Gucci says it is taking action after it was the target of complaints from a handful of people about allegedly inhumane conditions for its workers in China. The conditions cited included long hours without adequate pay and lengthy rules and regulations (which included workers having to ask permission to go to the bathroom or have a drink of water).
