TANGERINE TANGO.

After a lot of hearsay, rumors and waiting in anticipation the news is officially finally here.  It has now been confirmed that the CW Network will be bringing our beloved Carrie Bradshaw back to the television screen in a Sex and the City prequel series.  It will be based on the SATC creator Candace Bushnell's novel, The Carrie Diaries.  The latest show will go all the way back to the Eighties to enter the world of Carrie Bradshaw the teenager, who gets up to her usual mischief but this time it all happens throughout her  high school years.

Casting has not yet been confirmed but it looks as though Blake Lively, Miley Cyrus and Glee's Dianna Agron have all been linked to the lead role which was made seriously fashion famous by Sarah Jessica Parker.  One thing that has definitely been confirmed is that Amy B. Harris, who worked on the original HBO series, has indeed been named as the writer for this exciting new show.

So remember all those nights you would sit at home waiting to have girls night out with your television screen, Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha and of course New York city?  It’s coming back with a fabulous brand new cast and no doubt an amazing brand new wardrobe.  So get ready guys, I for one cannot wait!
After months of shrouding ourselves in woolly Aran jumpers and heavy winter coats, it's that time of year again where we part with the winter layers and instead we adorn ourselves in the most stylish of accessories. Whether you prefer dainty and precious, or chunky and oversized, this season, accessories are all about the costume jewellery.
Accessories make or break an outfit - Fact. No outfit, either daytime or night time, is complete without the addition of a bangle or necklace. From Lanvin accessorising their neon party dresses with chokers, seen on Amanda Seyfried; to Nicole Richie and Kim Kardashian dressing up an everyday outfit, there's an accessory out there for all types.

Depending on whether you're a jewellery fanatic or not, costume jewellery from the high street should be your first stop. Short necklaces and collars have replaced the long, boho chains that were on –trend last year.  Worn with a plain tee, chunky and oversized is the way to go with short necklaces for a simple and flattering take on the trend. Remember to keep hair and make-up simple when donning oversized jewellery so as to avoid accessories overkill.
For bargain pieces that won't break the bank, ranging in price from €9.95-€24.90, the options below are perfect for those looking to embrace the trend within a budget. Costume jewellery tarnishes very quickly with the wear and tear of everyday life, so it’s important not to blow the budget on pieces that are popular right now and will be forgotten about in a month’s time. Body chains, anyone?

However, if you are looking for that extra special accessory and are willing to blow the budget, bespoke NY brand Dannijo is your best bet. Retailing at upwards of $500, these necklaces are truly investment pieces. However, they're absolutely gorgeous and won't date anytime soon. Sported by many a celebrity, Dannijo is the brand responsible for the influx of collar and bib necklaces onto the high street.

Expensive, but oh-so pretty!

If necklaces aren't for you, why not accessorize any outfit with some arm candy. Instead of layering on bracelets though, accessorize with one statement piece such as an oversized bangle or cuff. In this instance, both Dannijo and the high street are offering only the best in chunky accessories for some major arm candy.
